The Faculty of Management and Social Sciences (FMSS) recently hosted a seminar presented by Miss Sharoo Nawrooz Fadhil, highlighting the significant impact of mental workload on employee performance and workplace behavior. Drawing on quantitative research findings, the seminar demonstrated how excessive cognitive demands can negatively affect task efficiency and reduce employees’ willingness to engage in supportive workplace behaviors. The session provided valuable insights into the importance of managing mental workload to enhance productivity, employee well-being, and overall organizational effectiveness.
