About Our Faculty

A Few Words About the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Management and Social Sciences (FMSS) at Qaiwan International University (QIU) was established in 2018, initially offering the Bachelor of Management (Technology) program under a franchise agreement with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This collaboration marked the beginning of our commitment to providing high-quality, industry-relevant education.

Over the years, the faculty expanded its offerings with the introduction of the Bachelor of Human Resource Development (HRD) under a franchise agreement with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) , followed by the suspension of the Management Technology Department. In 2023, the faculty further enhanced its academic portfolio with the launch of the Bachelor of International Business Management program, now offered under our partnership with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).

As one of the leading faculties within QIU, we are dedicated to delivering a comprehensive and enriching educational experience. Our mission is to foster an intellectually stimulating environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and practical skill development. With a team of experienced and qualified lecturers, we offer a robust foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical insights, equipping students to thrive in their chosen fields.

At FMSS, we believe in the power of interdisciplinary learning. We encourage students to explore connections between various disciplines, promoting a holistic approach to problem-solving and innovation. By blending academic theory with real-world application, our programs prepare the next generation of leaders to navigate the complexities of the modern business landscape and contribute meaningfully to their industries.

A Word from the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences

It is a great honour and an inspiring responsibility to serve as the new Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences at Qaiwan International University. Since its establishment in 2018 — made possible through our valuable academic partnerships with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) — the faculty has grown into a vibrant academic community and a rising center of excellence within the region. Today, FMSS stands at an exciting moment in its journey. Our flagship programs in Human Resource Development and International Business continue to attract ambitious, future- oriented students who are eager to contribute to an increasingly interconnected world. As Dean, my vision is to build on this strong foundation and propel the faculty toward evengreater innovation, impact, and global engagement. At FMSS, we believe education must empower. Our student-centred environment nurtures intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, leadership, and practical skills that prepare our graduates to succeed — not only in the job market, but in society as thoughtful, responsible changemakers. With a team of dedicated and highly qualified lecturers, we remain committed to delivering academic excellence enriched with real-world relevance.
